Rare Scrooms guide
Prepare for rare catches with the right instrument, a repeatable route and enough inventory space for quest items.
Before hunting a rare Scroom
Equip the strongest instrument available for the habitat, carry enough time for several attempts and clear duplicate common catches from your inventory. A failed first attempt is normal while learning the zone.
Build a short repeatable route
Choose nearby spawns you can reach without loading screens or long climbs. Repeat the loop instead of standing at one point; the goal is more attempts per minute.
Keep quest-relevant finds
Do not sell a rare or unfamiliar Scroom until you have checked the codex and your active quest. Community names and values can change, but quest turn-ins still require the correct item.
