How to sell Scrooms

Sell duplicates for Chimes while protecting quest targets and unfamiliar rare catches.

Keep one before selling

Check the active quest and the Scroom wiki before selling. Keep at least one of any item named by a quest, and keep unfamiliar rare finds until their role is clear.

Sell duplicates in batches

Return to the sale NPC after a short catch loop. Batch selling reduces travel and keeps your attention on catching. Common duplicates are the safest early source of Chimes.

Use earnings on progression

Save the first batch for an instrument you can equip. A better tool increases future catch consistency and usually outperforms small cosmetic purchases at the start.
